Learn more about the upcoming peer support group meeting in Ulverstone, 22nd October 2024

People living with brain injury, their families, and carers are invited to the next Peer Support Group meeting in Ulverstone.

Special Guest speaker:

A very different session to our usual, but a very important session. We will be having Angela from the State Emergency Service Person-centred Emergency Preparedness (P-CEP) Project present to us.

This P-CEP project helps people living with disability in Tasmania to be ready for:

  • Storms and floods
  • Bushfires, and
  • Other emergencies.

The project helps people with disability to plan for emergencies in ways that fits their life. The project uses the Person-centred Emergency Preparedness (P-CEP) approach. P-CEP recognises everyone is an expert in their own life. Planning starts with them and getting ready for emergencies is ongoing, not a one-off event.
