Launceston Brain Injury Peer Support Coffee Catch-Up (Friday 21 July)

July 11, 2023

Peer Support

Learn more about the new trial of the upcoming coffee catchup in Launceston, scheduled for 21 July 2023.

The Brain Injury Association of Tasmania appreciates the support people impacted by brain injury can receive by coming together to meet, chat, share some tips, and make new friends.

So with the help of a few existing members of our Launceston Brain Injury Peer Support Group we would like to trial running a Coffee Catch up at a local cafe. The event is designed to be a friendly and informal way for people with brain injury, their families and carers to come together for a casual chat over a coffee.

The first Coffee Catch up for Launceston will be held on Friday 21 July.

Morgan Tuma is a member of our peer support group and has kindly agreed to coordinate this coffee meet up. She will be at the café to meet you and join in the conversation. Morgan is an independent artist who has recently started her own arts consultancy. In her spare time she enjoys looking after her plants and spending time in nature. Morgan is happy to talk about her experience with a brain injury and answer any questions that you have.
