BIAT values its members and appreciates their support. Membership benefits include receiving regular newsletters, as well as priority invitation to relevant BIAT events, including the launch of Brain Injury Awareness Week and the BIAT Annual General Meeting (below picture from 2020 BIAT AGM - BIAT members and friends of BIAT).
Being a member of BIAT keeps you up to date with information and decisions that may affect your day-to-day life or work. Membership updates include policy changes, service developments and information about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). You will also be kept informed about what is happening in the world of brain injury, such as new research, coping strategies for people with brain injury and/or their families and carers, and relevant Tasmanian and Australian services and events.
